Our story

Drs. Jack Hattaway and Forrest Miles began with one concept in mind: to help as many people as they possibly could through chiropractic care. That meant more than opening a clinic. It meant becoming part of the community, so they could teach people what chiropractic can do.

Premier Chiropractic focuses on Structural Correction, and is the only facility of its kind in the Columbus area that specializes in it. We use state of the art methods to analyze and identify the primary structural shift, and we treat a range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, sciatica and scoliosis.

Every case starts with a detailed neuromusculoskeletal examination, x-rays if necessary, and an individualized report of findings. Our goal is to stabilize each patient's condition so they can fully get back to the activities of daily life.

Our mission

Why the practice exists.

Our mission is to get 80% of our community under chiropractic care.

We help as many people as possible by removing nerve interference, which allows the body to heal itself, prevent dysfunction and preserve mobility. To get there, we plan to build a nationwide network of chiropractic clinics, focused on superb customer service and wellness-driven outcomes.

Our motto says it plainly: get well, move well, stay well.

The doctors

Dr. Jack Hattaway

Founder and chiropractic physician

Dr. Jack grew up on his family's farm in South Georgia, playing sports and working outdoors. After high school he played football at the University of West Georgia, then graduated from the University of Georgia in June 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree and enrolled at Life University that fall.

His passion for helping people and his fascination with the human body led him to chiropractic. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University in 2013, where he became great friends with Dr. Forrest Miles. The two opened Premier Chiropractic in May 2014.

Away from the clinic he enjoys working around the house, spending time with his wife MacKenzie and daughter Jade, hunting, and lounging by any water he can find. In the fall, he is cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs.

Founder and chiropractic physician

Born and raised in Tennessee, Dr. Miles decided to become a chiropractor at the age of 12, after seeing chiropractic care help his mother recover from a debilitating back injury.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Middle Tennessee State University, went straight on to Life University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. There he met Dr. Jack Hattaway, and after graduation they opened Premier Chiropractic in May 2014.

On weekends you will most likely find him kayaking, grilling or playing video games. He enjoys attending his church and being involved in its ministries.

Dr. Dom was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire. His parents took him to have his spine checked in 7th grade, and from that day he knew he wanted to be a chiropractor and help people get back to doing the things they love.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he played Division I baseball, then attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Before coming to Georgia he practiced in Louisville, Kentucky.

Outside the office he plays golf, tries new restaurants, sits on the beach with friends and hikes with his dog, Frankie.

Chiropractic associate

Dr. Odom graduated with honors from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in exercise science. He then earned his doctorate in chiropractic at Life University, also with honors.

He has specialized training in pediatric chiropractic from hundreds of hours of post-graduate education, most of it through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Since receiving his doctorate in 2008, he has dedicated his life to helping people take control of their own health.

“It is so rare today to find medical practices that still practice patient care, bedside manner, or community concern. Premier Chiropractic is absolutely one of those practices. Dr. Miles and his staff are top shelf and without equal on the Columbus area! If you are in need of chiropractic care, you owe it to your skeletal system to go to Premier Chiropractic!”
